Sculpting Clay Mushrooms and Learning About God’s Creation

Today, we invite you into The Playroom as our little artists create mushrooms using air-dry clay and the sculpting tools they’ve inherited from their artist Ompa, Roy Adams. I’m sure He’d be thrilled seeing his granddaughters using his tools.

So come on over to our You Tube channel and watch as the girls make a mess in my studio while teaching us a little something about God’s creation the mushroom. If you enjoy, please like and subscribe because they could use some encouragement and it gets our videos out there. Thanks!

Supplies:

The Supplies you will need to make a mushroom in your playroom at home:

  1. Parchment paper
  2. Air Dry Clay
  3. Mister bottle with water.

The sculpting tools were really unnecessary, but made it more fun for them. You can use butter knives, straws, sticks etc. Whatever you have on hand.

I admit working with the girls on our Playroom projects is teaching me perfectionism is overrated. Just go with the flow! Also, let your kids help you create Christmas decor. It’s a win-win!

Sunaeya, Aubri, Addy, and Bella Adams are all resident artists of The Hallelujah House. You can read more about our smallest artists on their About Us page.
