The Renovation Reveal:

When the Hallelujah House opened its doors in November of 2019 our focus was on preparing the heart, home, and heritage. We have decided it was time to renovate, and now the House will provide a hub for Christian artists, writers, and creatives to not only promote their work, but to come inside for a bit of inspiration as well. Our new layout is categorized by rooms, and each room offers a different focus. Instead of always offering the long blog post format, you will now find micro-blogs, video links to our new You Tube channel, and Podcasts. It will take time for each room to fill with content, but here are examples of what you will find in each of the rooms.

The Kitchen:

In The Kitchen we provide creative ideas for meal planning, recipes, centerpieces, etc. Since the kitchen is the centerpiece of a home, this room will offer all things surrounding home and the Art of Homemaking.

The Living Room:

Have a seat in The Living Room and listen to our latest podcast. In this room you find a brief description describing our latest discussion and the link that will take you there. Our podcasts will include interviews with Christian artist, writers, and more regular discussions on topics such as faith, callings, abiding for the creative Christian, and in depth look at Bible stories.

The Studio:

In The Studio we provide links to our creative tutorials, a monthly examination of color and its use, Art History, tours of art studios, art book recommendations, etc.

The Library:

The Library offers a cozy spot for all things related to books, writing, readers, and writers.

The Playroom:

The last room is The Playroom. Here we offer ideas to keep kids using their creativity and imagination versus their phones. We plan to partner with Osprey (Old School Parents Raising Engaged Youth)a non-profit whose mission is to keep kids off social media. This movement will be discussed in the playroom where we will offer alternatives for creative arts, music, writing etc. created for the kiddos. The Playroom can be a great place for those who are involved in homeschooling to find inspiration in these areas.

You’ve reached the end of your tour. Time to stop peering in the doorways, pick a room, and come on inside. We’d love for you to leave a comment or a suggestion, and if you are a Christian writer, artist, homeschooling momma or homemaker  (homemaking arts) and would like to come be a part of our Hallelujah House or be a guest.  You can contact me at tammycarteradams@thehallelujahhouse.com. I’d love to chat!
