I admit it, I neglected to share Lisa’s spring watercolor tutorial last month, but it’s better late than never… so come on into The Studio.
This lavender watercolor would be a great project for a beginner adult or child. I associate watercolors with summer simply because they’re easy to throw in a suitcase for a summer vacation. We all know kids enjoy painting with watercolors.
So, give it a try and don’t be surprised if you get hooked and end up creating your own little watercolor travel kit. Did I forget to also mention a tutorial on how to create a travel, watercolor kit is coming in June? So stay tuned.
Thank you to the talented Lisa Sciacca, our resident watercolor artist, for this great tutorial. She’s already creating an idea for May’s watercolor tutorial coming soon.

Lisa Sciacca is our resident watercolor artist. She lives in the Appalachian mountains with her husband Tony and their twin boys. Lisa draws inspiration for her work primarily from nature. To read more about Lisa and to access her personal instagram you can find it all at her About the Artist page.
